My name is Ashleigh Kennedy and I am an Australian jeweller based in the Northern Rivers, NSW Australia. For the last eight years I have lived and created my work in the hills behind Scopello, Sicily, Italy. 

I am a lapidary artist and gemstone fossicker. I work predominantly with hand found gemstones ranging from the precious black opal found in Australia to the white marble of Sicily. My work celebrates the stone as it travels from the earth, to my bench, to the wearer. I feel empowered to be on this path as a maker, a jeweller.
